Mission Statement

The Concrete and Aggregate Association of Louisiana Inc. (CAAL) was incorporated in June 1989. The organization was formed to safeguard the interests of our members in the ready mix, aggregate, cement, concrete pipe and admixture industries. It is also of great interest to CAAL and its members to disseminate information on new technologies, techniques and materials available to the concrete industry.

CAAL distributes information through several mediums including but not restricted to the media, seminars and workshops.

The Association also provides a medium through which our members may coordinate their efforts in addressing various issues of common concern and interest.

We encourage members to be active in other organizations such as American Concrete Institute, Portland Cement Association, National Ready Mix Concrete Association, American Concrete Pipe Association, and National  Stone, Sand & Gravel Association. In fact CAAL is also the local chapter of ACPA and as such has the technical expertise and extensive reference library of the ACPA available to its members through the officers of the organization.

CAAL is under the direction of Kyle Ardoin,  the Executive Director for the association. Kyle has over 17 years of experience working for the Louisiana House of Representatives, lobbying and association management.  Kyle began his own lobbying firm just three years after graduating from Louisiana State University.  He majored in Political Science with a Minor in Speech and Communications.  Additionally, he served for four years as an elected member of the West Baton Rouge Parish School Board.  Kyle is committed to helping CAAL grow and become the recognized source of technical information for designers, producers and users of concrete through the sponsorship of seminars and workshops.

Examples of Seminars and workshops:
